Attachment for asset

Udon Fishing System is an asset for VRChat world creators that allows you to easily implement a fishing system with minigame-style mechanics and persistent leaderboards.

The asset includes three prefabs: fishing rods, fishing spots, and the controller.

Fishing rods are pickup objects with built-in fishing mechanics that players can grab to start fishing. Throw the float into a spot and wait for a fish to bite. Once you have a fish, you need to reel in the line carefully to avoid damaging it. The fish's score depends on several factors, including how well you perform in the minigame.

Fishing spots are volume areas you can place in your world where there’s water, allowing players to fish there. The types of fish available in each spot can be configured individually. Each spot has a quality level that is randomly generated when the instance starts. Players should try different spots to find the best one, but be aware that the quality decreases if too many people are fishing in the same spot.

The controller manages the leaderboard, showing the top three catches from players in the current instance, with persistent storage. It can be configured to show all-time bests or reset monthly. It also includes instructions translated into all supported VRChat languages.
