This is an avatar based on the Rexouium open species by RezilloRyker, made for use in VRChat. This is a brand new Rexouium model, not using any assets from the original, created in my own style.
Has full facial visemes, face expression morphs, and is fullbody compatible. This model also comes with body customization blendshapes, for different body types, as well as facial sliders.
This purchase comes with a unitypackage file with a few compiled prefabs, substance painter files, textures, and a .blend.
This avatar also comes with dynamic digitigrade legs and MMD visemes!

- You may customize this model however you like- you can even make public cloneable avatars with it.
- You may take commissions using this model, however if you're giving files, the other party must have also bought the model. You may also not upload commissioned avatars to the other party's account if they do not own the avatar off of Gumroad, you may only keep it as publicly cloneable on your own account. If a commissioner wants it private, they need to buy the avatar from me.
- Do not give out the model files to anyone that has not already bought and paid for it, for any reason.
- You MAY edit this model and then sell edits as bases for others to use, provided that anyone buying your base has bought the original model in the first place. You may sell mods of this model, but only to people who already own it.
- If you are commissioning someone else for textures for this model, and they do not already own the files, you may ONLY give out the substance file, and the substance file ONLY, for them to texture. If someone is compiling the entire avatar for you, or doing anything besides retextures, they must own it, or you will need to buy it for them.

2/22/22 - Fixed an issue with weighting on the plantigrade legs. Planti-legs should work properly now!2/22/22(Second Update!) - Major update- fixed the hand issue that has plagued Index users that use my avatars for years, added new custom hand animations, and completely re-did the head feathers to improve their appearance.
2/23/22 - Redid the back feathers to improve their appearance, as well as adjusted the UVs of the other feathers to make them a bit less thin and rounded.
2/23/22(Second Update!) - Reshaped the butt a bit to be a lil less "flat" and better shaped, added an extra "featherless" prefab, and added a "Split UV" version of the model with the pawpads and eyes separated onto a new UV and material, for those who want high-res paw and eye detail.
2/24/22 - Improved default texture with better "ticking" pattern, and added the typical Rexouium bioluminescence via emissions on markings layers. Added claws to the pawpad UV on the Split UV version for high-res claws, and added ear sliders for smaller and differently shaped ears, as well as a tail fur slider for use with the feather tail.
2/26/22 - Implemented a fix for a few issues introduced by VRChat's new beta IK system caused by the hip bone being flipped. "Lock Head" should no longer cause the model to twist and break, and it should not function properly in fullbody with the new IK. Also, combined the plantigrade and digitigrade versions into one .unitypackage file. The plantigrade prefabs are found in the "Planti" folder.
2/27/22 - Fixed an issue with the digi Split UVs version caused by a misnamed armature, which caused the avatar to not be recognized as a humanoid rig, resulting in T-posing ingame. Also, added new, realistic high-res textures for the Split UV version, made by troyBORG.
Overall I consider this an improvement to the original Rexouium, the gestures are way different and it's quite a bit of work in Unity to get them to look relatively close to the original Rexouium, you will have a hard time re-learning them and you will miss features like pulling the trigger in the fist gesture to stick out your tongue or close your eyes unless you add the animations for this yourself. There's a Discord server with good community support which is also monitored by the model's creator.
No clothes are included in the prefabs, there is a hoodie mesh that can probably be imported from the included .fbx and used somehow, but I did not bother with it. Recoloring the textures is fairly simple in substance painter, and the eyes are gorgeous.
The package comes with 3 digitigrade prefabs (featherless with hair and fox tail, feathers on the head with fox tail, and feathers with rex tail) and 2 plantigrade ones (primarily meant for Quest I believe, which does not support constraints). Just drag the prefab into your own scene, set up the shaders (works well with the free version of Poiyomi) and you're good to go. The latest version of the model includes the new PhysBones fully set up with a floor collider that you can choose to keep or disable depending on how you want your tail to behave while laying down.
I heavily prefer the look of this avatar to the original Rexouium, it comes with fox tail and hair included with prefabs and proper digitgrade legs. The latest version of the model includes the new PhysBones, but I docked a star due to the lack of whisker bones which would allow the model to be a bit more lively.
As of the latest update, the avatar has Good rating on PC with the featherless variant, and likely Medium on the feathered ones, but I have not checked. Due to the 63k+ poly count it is doomed to be Very Poor when uploaded to Quest. There is no separate optimized version in the package.
