


Living on a frozen moon named Avalon, Avalis have evolved to survive in this radically different habitat compared to Earth. They might be fluffy, small and adorable at first glance, but some of them might be quite on the defensive side if they treat you as an enemy.
The Mike'Vali is a sub species of Avalis, which are varied in beautiful looks! Their body patterns vary from individual to individual and they are each born with one of three tail shapes. Some of them can even be born with a rare condition called "luminesite", which makes their accent color glow in the dark! This condition also varies, with some having the full condition and glowing a constant light, some others only partially have it and their glow fades in and out over time. One things is for sure though: they are smart and they are aware of being cute fluffy space chickens! (but don't call them space chickens like that or they will go very hostile on you)

Since the original species idea isn't mine, I do not take credit for it, Ryuujin is the original author. However, all assets for this 3D base have been made by me. This model is based off their species and lore, but isn't 100% cannon (read on their full original lore on the Official Avali Wiki). It is an open species, so feel free to do whatever you want with the base as long as you do not take credit for the original assets.

Requirements
Requirements are listed below. Unity packages are split into multiple files. The base package is always imported first, then, depending on if you are importing inside a supported SDK, the package for that SDK is imported second. If you need any help with setting up your Mike'Vali, check the documentation on how to properly set it up or join the Mike Da Bird Discord community for further assistance with troubleshooting channels.
For Unity import only:
- Unity (2019.4 and above should do)
- Dynamic Bones
- Import only the base package of the Mike'Vali
- To edit the shaders, you'll also need Amplify Shader Editor 1.9.1.05
For ChilloutVR:
- Latest CVR CCK Unity version (2019.4.31f1 as of writing this)
- CVR CCK
- Dynamic Bones (if you don't have it, you can try to use the Dynamic Bones Stub package to preserve the prefabs DBs)
- Import the base package of the Mike'Vali and its included CVR package
- To edit the shaders, you'll also need Amplify Shader Editor 1.9.1.05
For Beat Saber
- Latest Beat Saber SDK Unity version (2019.3.15f1 as of writing this)
- Beat Saber Custom Avatar SDK 5.2.11 or later (follow the instructions on the mod's GitHub page on how to properly install it)

- Wiggle 2 (AKA Wiggle Bones 2) add-on (optional to simply open the project, but heavily recommended as there are wiggle bones set up on the Blender rig)
For VRChat:
- Latest VRC SDK Unity version (2019.4.31f1 as of writing this)
- VRC SDK 3.0 (using VCC)
- OPTIONAL: Dynamic Bones if you want the base prefabs' DBs to work, else the VRC prefabs included have VRC PhysBones already set up
