HOW DO I UPLOAD THE AVATAR TO VRC?

First, check out the “Guides” section in the official VRChat documentation: https://docs.vrchat.com/docs/current-unity-version

Once you’ve downloaded and installed the correct version of Unity, create a new project and download/import all of these resources in this order:

VRCSDK Avatar 3.0

Dynamic Bones (REQUIRED IF YOU WANT TAIL/CHEEKS/EARS/ETC. TO JIGGLE AROUND)

Red Panda Avatar

In the folder “Red Panda” there should be a scene file named “Red Panda”. Double click on it to open the scene.

At the top of Unity click “VRChat SDK > Show Control Panel”.

Log in, select the Red Panda avatar and click the “Build and Publish for Windows” button.

Follow the next few prompts and upload.

If these directions don’t seem to work, there are dozens of well put-together YouTube tutorials that should help :3

Can I retexture/modify my Red Panda Avatar?

Definitely! The .blend and Substance Painter files are included for just this purpose. Make clothes, add new expressions, and retexture as much as you’d like.

Can I take on commissions to retexture/modify my Red Panda Avatar?

Yep!

How about giving the Red Panda Avatar to friends?

Go for it! This avatar is now free for anyone to use.

Would it be okay if I put modified versions of the Red Panda Avatar on pedestals in a VRChat world?
